Maja lived and worked across Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Asia and United States, making her an agile and skilled negotiator and trusted advisor. Maja is considered one of the thought leaders in cryptocurrency space, digital transformation and future of work. As a CIO at General Electric, Maja was a catalyst for General Electric using blockchain and AI across variety of businesses inspiring number of successful pilots and customer engagements. Since 2007, Maja has been an early investor across variety of digital asset projects, from cryptocurrency exchanges to DeFi protocols and an advisor to stablecoin project Reserve and platforms like Securitize.
Maja is also on the Coindesk advisory board, an ambassador to Global Blockchain Business Council for the Balkan region and a member of Satoshi’s roundtable.
